  • Overview

    LEO A DALY is seeking the services of an architect to support its contract with a federal government agency. This is a full time assignment with the majority, if not all of the time, spent at a secure facility in Quantico, Virginia. Time not spent in the government facility will be supplemented by supporting the Washington DC based office team.


    Candidate will assist the facility's Planning Unit in:  Supporting the Master Planning efforts of the Unit; Providing architectural support and guidance concerning design, construction, budgetary and operational efforts; Evaluating particular User needs and providing advice, assistance and recommendations to involved Unit Project Managers.


    Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from accredited college or university in Architecture;
    Professional expertise demonstrated through 5-8 years of progressive experience working with various project types.

    Must be a US citizen  possessing a current or recent TS  Government Security Clearance or capable of obtaining the required clearance.
    Registered Architect preferred, In process for NCARB Licensure acceptable.
    LEED® Accredited Professional is a plus
    Proficiency using AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp and Microsoft Office applications is required. Revit expertise a plus.
    Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with project personnel;
    Excellent planning, time management and organization skills; strong ability to multi-task;
    Excellent client/customer service orientation and presentation skills;
    Working knowledge of current construction materials and methods.
