We are currently seeking a Senior Architect who has over 15 years of varied experience. Someone who enjoys taking projects from beginning to end, who knows how to put a project together. An individual who is savvy in the latest design and documentation software, including REVIT, Rhino, and SketchUp, to name a few.

Responsibilities

Participate in or lead, various pre-design services such as: programming, feasibility studies, site selection, Code analysis and cost analysis.
Lead projects as they move from Concepts and Schematics, through Design Development and Documentation.
Direct Construction Administration activities including responding to RFIs, Shop Drawing and Submittal Reviews and performing Punch-out duties.
Lead the preparation of code compliance evaluations and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance in relation to zoning laws, fire regulations, building codes and other ordinances.
Prepare and deliver oral and written presentations on the design and production of projects; assist in the presentation and explanation of proposals, reports and findings
Attend internal and external project meetings
Coordinate information and the work of a multi-disciplined team.
Assist with pursuit and proposal development and project presentations.
Lead a team of Architects, Technicians and Interns throughout the contract document phases of a project; serve as a mentor for less experienced Architects and developing Architectural personnel
Provide strong technical detailing skills in a variety of construction materials and building types
Report status of design process and cost analysis to appropriate Project Manager
Perform other duties which may arise.

Qualifications

 Registered Architect 
15 plus years relevant professional experience with progression of increasing level of responsibilities.
Proficiency with REVIT

Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications
Experience using Newforma, Deltek Vision, SketchUp and InDesign a plus
LEED® Accredited Professional is a plus
Knowledge and experience with project programming is preferred.
Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, detailing ability, strong code knowledge. Planning experience a plus.
Ability to persuasively and visually communicate ideas
Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with project personnel. To lead by example.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team.
Ability to formulate sound and educated decisions based upon available information; strong self-confidence.
Excellent planning, time management and organization skills.
Excellent client management and customer service orientation and presentation skills.
Detailed understanding of various regulatory building codes.
Thorough working knowledge of current construction materials and methods.
Eligible to work on “Secure” projects a Plus.
